Born in California, United States on November 26th 1990, Ashley Smith is a female fashion model who is well known for her quirky smile and unconventional gap in her front teeth. Smith measures 5’8.5’’ in height, has blonde hair, blue eyes and has measurements of 33 bust, 24 waist and 34 hips with a size 8.5 shoe and size 4 dress.
Though born in California, Smith was raised in Texas and harboring ambitions to become a model from a young age, she moved to New York City in 2009 to pursue her dream and was quickly signed to Trump Models.
A handful of almost immediate high profile jobs followed as Smith was personally requested by Chadwick Tyler to be photographed for some of his personal work and she also appeared in an editorial for RUSSH magazine shot by Benny Horne.
In February of 2010, Smith made her debut on the runway, walking for Jen Kao at their fall show in New York. This runway debut proved to be a success, and for much of 2010 Smith was sought after by many of the leading industry publications for print work. Among the highlights of these engagements were a feature in the spring issue of French Revue de Modes, once again shot by Chadwick Tyler, and editorial for Tank magazine shot by Christophe Rihet, a feature in the summer issue of i-D shot by Will Davidson and an editorial in Elle magazine shot by Richard Bush.
Smith’s reputation by this time was very established, and during the summer of 2010 she modeled for the Resort Prada presentation held in New York City. For the rest of the year Smith was involved in a number of high profile engagements both on the runway and in print, when she opened for Topshop Unique and closed for Peter Som during their spring New York shows, featured in editorials for W, i-D, British Harper’s Bazaar, Numero, Dazed & Confused, Allure and Italian and Russian Vogue, and graced the covers of COVER, Tush and RUSSH.
2011 brought further spotlight and acclaim for Smith when she was selected to become the face of T by Alexander Wang as well as signing a contract with Diesel to star in the campaign for their new Loverdose fragrance. Continuing her solid reputation on the runway, since 2011 Smith has closed the fall show in Paris for Vivienne Westwood, starred in a spring ad campaign for Diesel and appeared in editorials and covers of French Revue de Modes, Italian Vogue and Elle.
