At our elementary school, there is a charming inner-school mail system that really does encourage kids to communicate via the written word. It's hugely successful, and often it's highly amusing, too.

Both of the children send and receive mail multiple times a week; CJ received this one yesterday and it's just too good not to share here, in its entirety:
